Selected Videos from the Gi60 International One-Minute Play Festival

Meron has been a regular contributor to the Gi60 International One-Minute Play Festival since 2005, having had several of his short pieces performed in England and New York City through this event.

100 one-minute plays are selected for production in Gi60 each summer, with 50 being performed at Brooklyn College in New York City, and 50 in various venues in Northern England (most recently at Dean Clough Mills).  Meron's work has regularly been featured in both festivals, and he has also contributed to the Gi60 Blog.

Presented chronologically below are a sampling of videos from Meron's Gi60 plays that have been performed as part of the Brooklyn & UK events over the years.

The Case Against Vampirism has been performed in several venues over the years.  Gi60 produced it again in 2010 in the UK as part of their special Halloween event, G(hosts)i60 (scroll down a bit for that video). This is from the 2005 festival at Brooklyn College.

This video of The Name of the Horse  _is from the 2005 Brooklyn College performance.

This play has also been published in the art 'zine, LamiaInk.

A ten-minute version of They're Playing Your Song (including an additional character, and a fight) is also available and has been performed at venues in Boston and Chicago and workshopped at Polaris North in NYC.  This video of the shortened version is from 2005.

_This video of Call Waiting for Godot is from the 2007 Brooklyn College Gi60.

This play is part of The Godot Variations (Whining for Godot, Waiters for Godot, & Call Waiting for Godot), which is published and licensed by Smith & Kraus.

Stating the Obvious from the 2007 Brooklyn College Gi60.

Culty-Mates (A Ritual) from the 2009 Brooklyn College Gi60.

A longer version of this play was published in the 2010 issue of NorthNorthwest by the Northwest Playwrights' Alliance and Western Washington University.
